Our second community quiz night of the year took place on Tuesday, September 23rd, and it was another fantastic evening filled with friendly yet fierce competition!
Several of our institutes and the business community came together. The food was provided by Genuine Dining Company. The competition was hosted by our very own quiz master extraordinaire, Tracy Carpenter, AIP’s Estate and Facilities Manager. There was a wide range of topics covered, including science, geography, a controversial cheese round, a ‘who am I?’ round, sports, and the quiz finished with movie snippets.
This contest was one of the closest we’ve had to date, with great performances from all the teams. Here are the results:
1st Place: Mirco Fluffy Kittens, a team from NNUH Microbiology
2nd Place: Real Ale Madrid, a team from NBI Computing
3rd Place: OMG GMO, a team from Tropic
Congratulations to all the teams for their impressive efforts; it was incredibly close!
The AIP team holds regular community events, including multiple quiz nights each year, an ‘old school’ sports day, fundraising events, coffee mornings and networking lunches.
