Tenants get festive at Centrum Christmas Party

‘Tis the season and things are feeling very festive at Norwich Research Park! As we get closer to Christmas day, and the end of the year, it is a great opportunity to bring members of the park’s business community together to enjoy all the greatest Christmassy things like classic Christmas songs, great Christmas food and a chance to catch up with other people to talk about the past year and plans for the next.

So… Anglia Innovation Partnership (AIP) did just that! The team that manages the research park held a ‘festive fling’ on the 14th of December for members of the park’s business community to network and have lunch, which included turkey and cranberry wraps, mince pies and a chocolate yule log! The AIP team also held a tombola to give guests the chance to win a variety of prizes, like chocolates, wine, beer and there were a few tins of mixed fruit and baked beans!

It was great to see many representatives from the business community, including staff from Tropic, Colorifix, iDNA Genetics, BBRO, Big C, SoCode, Novagraaf, PBL Technology, Governorhub, AAH Software, and what’s more we had a visit from Mike Rigby, of the podcast Eastern Promise, to interview members of our community about what they do and their plans for Christmas.

Roz Bird, CEO of AIP LLP, said, “AIP is putting community at the heart of Norwich Research Park which is a high-quality environment to help companies impress their clients and attract and retain the best staff. Hosting community events, on a regular basis, and encouraging people to network, and look for opportunities to collaborate, adds value to the companies and research groups based here. It was great to catch up with many of our businesses at our Christmas gathering!”

Work is already underway to create a programme of events throughout 2023, starting with our second Quiz Night on Thursday 2nd February 17:30 to 20:30 at Centrum and our first Enterprise Wednesday Showcase event on the 22nd February 14:00 to 17:00 to highlight the wide range of R&D and commercial activity taking place on campus. We hope we will get to see you there!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at AIP!
