Now a staple annual event for the park, the bake sale in aid of cancer charity Big C gives the community an opportunity to donate baked goods to a stall in Centrum where passers by can donate and take what they want throughout the morning and early afternoon.
With another fantastic selection of cakes and brownies this year it is no surprise the stall was another great hit, with all the donations totalling £615.74! As always, we grabbed some great photos of all the cakes so you can see all the talented bakers we have and you can see them in our gallery here.
One particularly epic 3-tiered cake, covered in blue berries, was so impressive it was selected to be a raffle prize. The cake’s winner was selected completely at random from everyone who bought a raffle ticket and was won by Anglia Innovation Partnership’s very own Estates and Facilities Manager, Tracy Carpenter.
Big C is a people-first charity, committed to working collectively to provide outstanding cancer support, when and where people need it, now and for the future, so the team at Anglia Innovation Partnership is delighted to be able to hold this event to help raise money for this great cause and wants to thank the members of our community who baked or donated for their support!
