Norwich Research Park is delighted to be hosting the UKSPA (UK Science Parks Association) Summer Conference 2026. Across two days, UKSPA members, stakeholders and partners will have the chance to meet and hear from scientists, entrepreneurs and businesses from our thriving ecosystem.

Attendees will experience first-hand how Norwich Research Park supports the journey from discovery to commercialisation, from ground-breaking research to commercial success.

Roz Bird, CEO of Anglia Innovation Partnership, said, “As an UKSPA Board member and someone who, many years ago now, worked for the UK Science Park Association, I am particularly pleased that Norwich Research Park is hosting the UKSPA Summer Conference 2026.

We are ‘supercharging’ this national event by combining with our eleventh Enterprise Showcase. So, we have a ‘double bill’ and will be welcoming both national representatives and our local audience. We are also expecting a few special guests from overseas.

The combined events will be a chance to showcase our unique breadth and depth of scientific activity in agri-food, health, nutrition and the environment, helping to transform pioneering research into global impacts. There will also be a dinner at The Forum, in Norwich, to ensure our guests get the chance to experience our award winning city.”

As home to over 3,000 early-stage scientists, clinicians and entrepreneurs, Norwich Research Park is renowned for launching companies that tackle world challenges. Previous events have sparked partnerships that have secured significant investment and accelerated real-world solutions.

UKSPA’s diverse network spans clusters, science parks, research parks, areas of innovation and innovation districts across the UK and Northern Ireland. Together, this community forms powerful foundations for economic growth nationwide.

This year’s conference will highlight how members and partners drive innovation, deliver meaningful social impact and fuel inclusive growth in their regions. It’s an opportunity to spark new collaborations and establish lasting partnerships as we collectively address challenges on local, national and global scales.

A highlight of the conference will be the Norwich Research Park Enterprise Showcase, taking place on Thursday 2 July at the John Innes Conference Centre. Titled ‘Creating Economic Impact’, the showcase will focus on sharing best practices in ecosystem development, demonstrating how strong partnerships and knowledge exchange can drive economic growth.

This exclusive event will bring together research leaders, entrepreneurs and investors to celebrate and spotlight the region’s most exciting innovations and collaborations. Delegates will have the chance to hear from emerging spin-outs and engage directly with founders and research teams in agri-food, health, nutrition and the environment.

Our vibrant community and engaged partners frequently share how the connections made at Norwich Research Park events have been instrumental in their growth and impact. As a previous attendee notes:
“A brilliant event, bringing together so many people. I loved the pitches, meeting some of the founders and listening to their ideas and plans for the future. I’m looking forward to following the businesses as they grow further.”

Spaces are limited, so please register now to secure your place to mix with industry leaders and innovators who are shaping the future of science and enterprise.
