Anglia Innovation Partnership LLP (AIP) the team that manages Norwich Research Park, hosted a quiz night for the campus on the 17th of October, in the Centrum Building, to bring together different teams from the business and research community and pit them against each other in some friendly competition!
Eleven teams took part on the night. Paul Reed, AIP CFO, led the competition with 140 questions on a variety of different topics including music, film and sport. Feedback has been extremely positive with everyone looking forward to the next one.
£10 tickets included entry to the quiz, a meal and a drink, prepared by on-site caterers, the Genuine Dining Company.
It was a fun night for all involved and a delight to see people from our community all out having a good time together.
After checking the final scores, the winners, on the night, were the team known as ‘The Three Amigos’ who took home the winning prize – lots of chocolates.
Alexia Mlynarska, the event organiser from AIP LLP, said, “This event has been a great success, hosted by our very own talented quiz master, CFO, Paul Reed. Thanks to my colleague Jade for all her help with co-ordinating the quiz. I look forward to organising the next one!”
Roz Bird, CEO of AIP, said, “When I first started here in May people said they were keen to get to know each other. This was music to my ears because successful science parks are communities of mutual regard where people get the chance to get to know each other, look for opportunities to collaborate, and inspire each other with their difference. The AIP team will therefore run a whole range of events to hopefully appeal to a wide range of people and encourage them to join in.”
