Each year, Anglia Innovation Partnership, the campus management team at Norwich Research Park hosts a summer BBQ for the community. The event offers everyone a chance to reconnect, network, and enjoy relaxed conversation over delicious food.
This year’s event was sponsored by Marks & Clerk, a leading global intellectual property firm that partners with businesses of all sizes. “Marks & Clerk are delighted to sponsor this annual event. As strong supporters of the campus, it was wonderful to reconnect with many of our clients, make new connections, and explore future opportunities.” said Shelly MacDermott, Client and Markets Executive at Marks & Clerk.
Over 220 people from across the campus attended, marking the largest turnout to date. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of BBQ food, including burgers, hot dogs, pasta, coleslaw, and a fantastic vegetarian option, all prepared by the on-site caterer, The Genuine Dining Company.

It is never easy organising large events; the AIP team does a fantastic job catering for many different needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages networking and connection. This year, we were delighted to welcome The Entertainers steel band to the campus, their vibrant performance truly captured the spirit of summer and was a wonderful addition to the event.”
