mobile-main-image

Peter Innes is the great-great nephew of the original John Innes. He chairs the John Innes Foundation (JIF), which owns the land upon which JIC, TSL, Earlham and some ancillary buildings sit upon across the Norwich Research Park. JIF is also part of the AIP demise and it also part-funded the nursery on-site. The foundation makes substantial grants to research and educational elements of the scientific programme park-wide.

After a time in the army, Peter worked as an investment manager and latterly, as a headhunter in Edinburgh. He now lives in Oxfordshire and in retirement recently completed a MSc. with distinction in local history at Lincoln College, Oxford.
