Every year the campus management team, at Norwich Research Park, hosts a summer BBQ for the community. This event is all about catching up with others and enjoying relaxed conversation over great food!

This year’s event was sponsored by Howes Percival, a leading commercial law firm offering a client-focused service that benefits the businesses and communities in which they work.

Almost 200 people attended from across the campus, the largest turn out to date! The weather didn’t quite turn out as sunny as the team had hoped, but with plenty of space both outside, on the terrace, and inside Centrum’s large 120-seat restaurant, guests could choose to be indoors or outdoors.

The Genuine Dining Company set out two large BBQs, offering burgers and hot dogs, pasta, coleslaw and a vegetarian option too that looked and tasted fantastic. There were some brief speeches from AIP CEO Roz Bird and Gordon Simpson, Partner at Howes Percival. There was also a chance to use any of the outdoor games and selfie station.

Roz Bird, CEO of AIP, said, “Thank you to Howes Percival for sponsoring our Norwich Research Park summer barbecue. The Howes Percival team said that they had some great conversations and look forward to coming to the campus more often to collaborate and support businesses.

It is never easy organising large events; the AIP team does a fantastic job catering for many different needs and creating a nice atmosphere which encourages people to mix and network.

It was a great chance to catch up with people from our business community and enjoy a nice burger!”
