David Parfrey, the CEO of Anglia Innovation Partnership (AIP) LLP, the organisation that manages Norwich Research Park, has announced that he is retiring from his role after three and a half years at the helm.

David said, “I am really proud of the work that the AIP LLP Board, my team and the people right across the Park have delivered since I have been here to establish a firm base for future growth.”

Non-exec Chair of AIP LLP, Dr Pete Jackson said, “I would like to thank David for his contribution to making Norwich Research Park a thriving community, where great science is carried out and businesses can be created and grown. Our focus for the next 10 years is to turbo-charge the Park’s enterprise culture, exploiting all of the business opportunities that our world-leading research presents us with, creating new jobs by investing in entrepreneurs, building new facilities, and growing businesses.”

David added, “It will soon be time for someone else to take the CEO ‘s position and I am sure that they will grasp the opportunities that are in place. Norwich and Norwich Research Park will always be dear to my heart. It’s a great community with very highly skilled people that will make a real difference to our lives. I wish my successor the best of luck in continuing the magnificent story that we have started.”

The selection process for David’s successor is now underway.
