An invitation for new grant applications has been announced by Norfolk’s cancer charity and Park occupier, Big C
The grants are open for research and equipment applications with a benefit to cancer patients, whether quantitative, qualitative or mixed methodology. Applications will be subject to peer reviews and consideration by Big C’s Research Advisory Panel of independent scientific experts and Big C trustees, before the awards are announced in December 2018.
Nikki Morris, Deputy Chief Executive at Big C said, “Our aim is to invest in a diverse portfolio of initiatives when it is clear to see their benefit to cancer patients, now or in the future. We are interested in receiving applications from across the wide spectrum of specialities from ground-breaking cancer research, or the latest medical equipment, to those projects with a focus on well-being. What unites them is their potential benefit to people in our community affected by cancer.”
