Anyone involved in R&D creates intellectual property as part of their work. A decision has to be made to protect it, keep it secret or publish it. The seminar will outline fundamentals of IP rights, the requirement for protection, what rights are obtained and factors that might affect protection.
Dr Peter Wilson is a European and UK Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Design and Trademark Attorney. Peter had a previous career as a research scientist, and now works for IP consultants Novagraaf UK at Centrum, representing and advising clients ranging from sole inventors to a top 50 Fortune 500 multinational corporation.
