Pilates is for all ages and fitness levels. The classes aim to teach many exercises which will work on strengthening the deep core muscles. The sessions will focus on releasing tight muscles and relaxing the body. With a holistic approach to exercise, Pilates is a great way to strengthen and tone the whole body, providing:
- Relief from mild back, neck and shoulder pain
- Helps to manage stress
- Posture, coordination and balance
- Core strengthening
- Stronger bones
- Relaxation and wellbeing
The sessions will be led by Emma Powers. Emma Power trained with Body Control Pilates London. She is a Level 3 Pilates teacher. Emma completed further courses in Menopause, Low Back Pain, Scoliosis, Over 50’s Bone Health among others. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served bases. Please book in advance.
Please arrive at Centrum Community Hub reception in time for the sessions. Hub staff will give you directions to the class in Centrum.
